A whole working library is usually worth more valued and collected as one than sold piecemeal — and it's genuinely less work for you. Everything below applies whether it's a well-stocked chambers room or a library that's outgrown the office.
For a large library, collection is a truck and a planned route rather than a courier and a stack of boxes. The vehicles belong to our delivery partners and we arrange the job around your access and timing — including consolidating several sites into one collection where that’s simpler for everyone. We’ve arranged a single run that took over 2,500 books from three different chambers in one go.

Fifty or five thousand — the same process applies. Send photographs of the shelves and a rough volume count; that's enough for a first figure.

Shelved by subject, boxed from a move, or split across several rooms — you don't need to sort or list anything before you get in touch.

We box everything ourselves, free of charge, and arrange collection around your schedule — including multi-room or multi-visit collections where needed.

No — we value collections of any size. This page is specifically about the other end of the scale: large, complete or near-complete libraries, where we're usually most useful.
Do I need to list or inventory the collection first?
No. Photograph the shelves as they stand and send a rough idea of the volume count — that's genuinely enough for us to work from.
Can you collect from a whole office, not just one bookcase?
Yes. We collect directly from wherever the books currently sit, box everything ourselves free of charge, and arrange collection around your schedule.
