What affects value

Continuity of run
An unbroken sequence of years is worth more than the same number of scattered volumes — a report series is used to find a specific case from a specific year, and a gap is a gap in exactly the place someone might need to look.
Which series, specifically
The official Law Reports, All ER, and Weekly Law Reports are the most commonly held. Specialist strands within a series are valued individually, so a photo of the spines tells us more than a description.
Condition
Ordinary shelf wear from decades in a working library is expected and priced in. Water damage and mould are what genuinely affect the figure.
